Document No. 468 / BVHTTDL-DSVH 02 on February 22nd, 2016 of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism was sent to the People’s Committee of Hanoi on the investment project of renovation and restoration of Hai Giac Pagoda and Van Xuan communal house relics in Dan Phuong district, Hanoi.

Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism received Dispatch 8451 / Committee-MPI on November 26, 2015 of the People’s Committees of Hanoi and Official Letter No. 527 / MPI-VX dated February 04th, 2016 by the Department of Planning and investment in Hanoi proposal opinion on the investment policy of restoring and embellishing Hai Giac pagoda and Van Xuan communal house, Ha Mo commune, Dan Phuong district (together with project profile). After review, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism’s opinion is:

1. Regarding the need for investment: Hai Giac Pagoda and Van Xuan communal house relics were national rating, currently degraded, so the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism agrees with the establishment renovation projects of Hai Giac Pagoda and Van Xuan communal house relics to preserve and promote the value.

2. About the content of project profile: Basic agreement with the contents of maintenance, replenishment of Hai Giac Pagoda, including such items as: Maintenance of the port, outside the port; the Three Jewels; fence system, garden and technical infrastructure; termite; cover up the monument protection during renovations; Van Xuan communal house, including such items as: Improving the overall total foundation to 45cm; Great home renovations; The left and right opening; auxiliary facilities and infrastructure; termite; cover up the monument protection during renovations.
