Although Vietnam tourism has faced with many difficulties and challenges, the number of international visitors coming to Vietnam is growing slightly, up 12.3% over the same period in 2015.
International visitors to Vietnam in January is up slightly
The General Statistics Office said, the number of international visitors to travelling to Vietnam in January was estimated at 805,072 arrivals, up 5.8% compared with that of December, 2015 and up 12.3% over the same period of 2015.
Accordingly, the biggest number of guests belonged to Korean market, reaching 149,330 passengers. After that are the number of tourists from China, Japan, USA, Australia and Taiwan …
The achievements and targets in future of Vietnam tourism
According to the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, the results which achieved in 2015 is a prerequisite for development in future. In 2016, the tourism sector strives to gain 8.5 million international arrivals, serving 60 million domestic tourists, in which the number of guests using accomodation is 31 million visitors.
The tourism industry will also continue to promote investment in infrastructure development and service facilities in the key regions which have many advantages over natural resources and tourism development.
