The city has agreed to take over the Japanese cherry trees to plant at the park which will bring peace symbol.
Hanoi will plant 200 cherry blossom trees in Hoa Binh park
Hanoi City Party Committee announced the conclusion of the Party Committee about the proposal donated 200 cherry trees from Japan. Accordingly, the Party agreed policy which allows to organize cultural exchanges and to receive Japanese cherry trees; deploy to plant donated flowers at Hoa Binh Park, North Tu Liem district.
Earlier, in the first meeting of Party Committee of Hanoi in new year on February 15th, Chairman Nguyen Duc Chung announced about giving 200 trees from Japan for cherry blossom festival in March, 2016.
According to Chairman of Hanoi, not only donated the tree, Japan advised to take experts to direct care these trees to ensure that the plant will bloom in about a year after planting. Japan was studied to show that cherry trees are suitable with the weather conditions and soil in Hanoi.
Cherry blossom festival
The year 2016 is the 10th year the cherry blossom festival is held. It is considered as the most outstanding events of the year in order to introduce Japanese culture to those who love the land of the rising sun.
